What Should We Be Doing?

Paul was writing one day to the followers in Ephesus and sharing about the mystery of God and how he was the least of those qualified to share about those wonders. He explains that God blessed him and gifted him to be able to share the Gospel to those he encountered along his journeys.

Eph. 3: 7-8 This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to this Message. It came as a sheer gift to me, a real surprise, God handling all the details. When it came to presenting the Message to people who had no background in God’s way, I was the least qualified of any of the available Christians. God saw to it that I was equipped, but you can be sure that it had nothing to do with my natural abilities. (MSG)

In our daily activities we have several opportunities that are orchestrated by God for us to share His love and mercy to those around us. It does not take a special ability or a degree to converse about what God has done or is doing in your life. It simply takes willingness on your part to share.

This week, ask God to make known to you the opportunities you have before you. Ask Him to make you acutely aware of times when it is acceptable and needed that you share about Him in your life. Sometimes it is as simple as praising His name while others are present to hear it. Realize that God has a special work for you and it is to reach the world around you; your sphere of influence. He has appointments already prearranged for you.

Will you share this week? Could you take a little time this week to help someone around you see the glory of the King working in your life? I hope so because like Paul, it should be our life’s work to share about the One who has given us our life!

Remember, God’s Got This!!
